FAQ & Platform Rules

Is this a dating app?
No. Casual talk, "getting to know each other", boyfriend/girlfriend behaviour, and any language of dating or free-mixing are prohibited. All members have signed a permanent marriage-purpose pledge.
Why can't I share my phone / email / social handle?
Direct sharing of phone, email, or social handles in chat is blocked. After a contact or meeting request is accepted, the appropriate contact or Wali details are revealed in-app so a family-supervised meeting can be arranged.
How do request timers and cooldowns work?
- Meeting requests stay live for 14 days. They can be cancelled immediately by either party.
- Contact requests expire after 14 days. Contact details remain visible for 14 days after acceptance, then re-lock.
- Photo requests expire after 3 days once accepted. Photos are never shown on the browse page or before acceptance.
- Chat requests are a standalone request type. Once accepted, chat unlocks for 14 days to coordinate the family meeting, then closes.
- 14-day cooldown — after a photo, contact, or meeting request is rejected, you must wait 14 days before sending another request to the same person.
- Contact request limit — maximum 10 contact requests per 14-day rolling window. Admins can clear this lock manually if needed.
How does the report system work?
You can report a profile once. Three unique reports auto-suspend the account. Three text-filter violations (phone/email/PII in bio, ideal partner, or request comments) will also auto-suspend.
Photo Policy
Sisters do not upload photos. Brothers may have private photos. A sister can send a photo request to view a brother's private photos; once accepted, she can view them in-app for 3 days. Photos are never shown on the browse page or before acceptance.
How does chat work?
Chat is a standalone request type. Once a chat request is accepted, in-app messaging unlocks for 14 days. You can also send a meeting request directly from any chat conversation. All messages are moderated for respectful, halal communication.
Verification & Safety
All profiles go through manual review. Sisters involve their Wali in match decisions. After a contact or meeting request is accepted, Wali or personal contact details are revealed in-app with gender-appropriate privacy rules.
Deleting my account
Use the "Delete Account Permanently" button in your profile settings. This hard-deletes your profile, chats, requests, and photo.
Contact / Report Abuse
Use the Report button on the offending profile. Three unique reports auto-suspend the account. Serious issues can also be reported through the Wali of the other member. For general support, use the ticket form below.
